작동온도와 압력,접촉유체(seald media)에따라 아래의 타입중에서 적절한 타입을 선정한다

  • Plain Type : Not self energized or Pressure filled
    • - for working conditions from vacuum to 100 PSI (7 bar)
    • - Type Code : MON (Internal Pressure), MOM (External Pressure)
  • Vented, Self energizing type : Internal or External vented and pressure-energized.
    고압용으로써, 씨스템압력에 의해 씰의 밀폐력이 증가함
    • - Recommended for high pressure above 100 PSI (7 bar)
    • - Type Code : MOI (Internal Vented & pressure), MOE (External Vented & pressure)
  • Gas pressure-filled : are filled with an inert gas at 600 PSI( 41 bar)
    오링튜브내부에 불활성기체가 채워져있어서(41 bar) 높은 온도에서 씰의 밀폐력이 커짐.
    • - Recommended for high temperature ( 425 ~ 1093℃)
    • - At elevated temperatures, gas pressure increase to offset the loss of strength in the
        tubing and specific pressure.
